Communion "Liturgy"
As John mentioned, "Liturgy" is a churchy word that means "the work of the people." It is an opportunity for the whole congregation to take an active role in participating in worship. What did you think of your Communion experience yesterday? Was it worshipful? Did it make sense? Was it confusing?

It was wonderful, generally meaningful, and made sense, but because the service went long, the liturgy will lose some of its beauty as parents are staring at the clock, wondering if they need to get their kids transferred from children's church to their Sunday school room. It's a good idea, but be ready to lose a song or two if the service is already going long. It's not meaningful if the congregation is watching the clock.
You're right. The service went WAY too long. Probably because of that long-winded preacher! :) But seriously, there was a LOT of stuff packed into that worship service. If it helps to know...11:00 worship got out right on time!
